Dr. Wrye graduated with honors from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center. He completed a General Surgery residency at the University of Colorado and is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Wrye completed his Plastic Surgery training at Penn State University and is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Honors that Dr. Wrye has received during his training include: election to Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society; voted “Intern of the Year” during his surgical residency; and awarded “Outstanding Teacher” during his Plastic Surgery training. Dr. Wrye has authored and co-authored many papers published in national medical journals. His publications include topics on cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, microsurgery, and cleft lip and palate.
